The traditional, friendly Corfiot lifestyle has not been lost in the new larger village of Acharavi.

Many fondly remember the tiny rural village with its friendly taverna owners and easygoing charm; none of which has been lost in its gradual growth over the years.

The mesmerizing beautiful views over the Ionian Sea to Albania, and behind to the foothills of Mount Pantocrator remain constant. Many people choose to come back to Acharavi year after year.

Famous for its 5 kilometers of safe sand and shingle beach, Acharavi is perfect for families and sun worshippers. Eating out can vary between beach-front tavernas, the village, or country restaurants like the converted Olive press that also offers live Greek music and dancing.

There is enough low-key nightlife to keep night owls happy. A boon for kids big and small is Hydropolis, a small water park to be found on the edge of the village.

If you prefer something quieter, try one of the easy coastal walks, or wandering in Mount Pantokrator’s foothills. Acharavi is perfectly positioned for exploring.

There are many excursions by coach and boat, and local buses and car rental are available to those who wish to explore further a field, perhaps to visit the nearby village of Kassiopi or Corfu’s dramatic northern coastline.

All our houses are only a stroll away from the beach, local supermarkets, tavernas and free pools. Acharavi is 45 kilometers from the airport so the transfer time is approximately one hour.
